SHEKEIA KAANDRA is a female Ethnic reborn baby created by Kimberly Stevens.  She is a chocolate brown reborn female baby girl, 16" tall.  She has 3/4 arms and 3/4 legs and her body parts are made of an extra soft Bountiful Baby "baby skin" vinyl.

I am currently working on her and I am planning to put dark brown to black hair on her and she has closed eyes. She has blushed pink cheeks and a sweet little nose.  Her head circumference is about 10 3/4".  She will have a soft peachy doeskin stuffed body with glass beads and poly-fill inside her.  For an extra $50.00 I will dye her doe skin a brown color but I cannot guarantee the degree of brown.  

She was designed by Denise Pratt and is a Bountiful Baby Reborn Kit called 'Kaelin'.  She will come with a Snuggle Babies Nursery Birth Certificate.

I got beginning stages of ethnic paint but feel as if I need many more layers to get Shekeia where I want her, a nice deep caramel color. As you can see her belly plate is coming along nicely but I am not happy yet with her legs.  I am ordering some darker paint colors today!  She then needs all her mottling, veining, etc.

Update 10/4/17

Shekeia is getting a nice brown color to her now that I switched to a beautiful burnt umber paint with a hint of yellow.  She is ready for details, mottling, veining, creases and more.  I ordered a gorgeous curly mohair for her in black.  I am going to hand root her eyelashes.

Shekeia has gotten more coats of paint and beautiful brown mohair from Angora Mohtique.  Here she is after I rooted her full head and I wanted to leave it long but she is sooo tiny at 16" she would not look right with braids or something so I went ahead and trimmed it up.  Oh my goodness, she looks soooo cute.

She has gotten her magnets and I am waiting for them to dry, but she will be getting her body on this weekend!  She is so tiny I am on the hunt for clothing but I may have to crochet her something because she is super tiny!  Like a preemie size!

I will be putting up a button to purchase her soon!  I can alternatively make her for you custom if you have specific requirements.  This can take 2b- 12 weeks or more.
